The Hypixel SkyBlock Legacy resource pack has been added as an option to revert back to vanilla items after the new Hypixel texture pack came out today. The resource pack menu will also reopen on startup after the update to let you select it.

1 Million Downloads — and v5.0 is here!

Hey everyone! The pack has officially crossed 1 million downloads. I honestly can't thank you all enough — when I started this I never imagined it reaching even a fraction of this many people, and knowing that so many of you load it up and find it useful is the best reward I could ask for.

To celebrate, I'm dropping one of the biggest updates the pack has ever had: version 5.0. (Totally not just a coincidence that this lined up with the milestone, and was definitely planned) With 5.0 have I done close to a complete pass over the whole pack, from the mod list to performance to the default configs.

What's new

• Updated to Minecraft 26.1
• Reworked Item Recipe list & view for better browsing
• ~40% better average FPS in the Hub with smoother frame times
• Brand-new default configs (v5) — with massive improvements for a cleaner first-time experience
• Revamped mod selection for better stability and features

Everything below is split into sections — expand whichever ones you want to know more about.

Performance: 4.0 vs 5.0

• Average FPS in the Hub improved by ~40%
• Noticeably fewer frametime stutters for smoother gameplay
• Game startup is ~12% faster (roughly 2–3 seconds quicker, varies by system)

Updating

For most people, you can simply update as normal and everything will be fine.

A fresh install is worth considering if:

• You haven't made major config changes and want a clean start on the new defaults, or
• You're running into issues with your current install.

On startup you'll be asked whether to apply the new default configs or keep your own. If you've tweaked your configs to your liking, I recommend keeping your own.

If you've added your own mods to the pack, remember to update them to 26.1.

Mod & resource pack changes

Removed **Mods** - **Emoji Type** — not available on 26.1 - **Firmament** — no longer needed. Its last feature that was useful and not already provided by other mods has been moved into a dedicated mod, SkyBlock Enhanced Storage. This mod was made by me and uses parts of Firmament’s source code, licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later, in accordance with its license. Default configs v5 took almost 20 hours of tediously reading every config option in every mod in the pack, then tuning each one so all the necessary QoL is on — and making sure no two mods have the same feature enabled at once. Hey everyone!

Today I have a big update for you all. 8 new mods have been added to improve your experience on Hypixel.

In addition, Roughly Enough Items has been replaced by Reliable Recipe Viewer. This change was made because RRV runs significantly better compared to REI. From my testing, you can get up to a 50% FPS increase while the inventory and item viewer is open, along with a slightly faster startup time.

RRV is only responsible for the item list and viewing items. My mod, Skyblock Enhancements, handles adding items to the list. If you run into any issues with RRV, please report them so they can be fixed as soon as possible.

Alongside that change, two new performance mods have been added that can significantly improve FPS in situations with many HUD elements on screen, such as in the Garden. In testing, FPS more than doubled in some cases while standing still with over half the screen covered in SkyHanni HUDs.

Feesh and Secret Routes Mod have also been added based on user requests.

Hey, Skyblock Enhancements has been updated, adding many requested features and improving the in-testing RRV integration. The big one is chat search (Ctrl+F) and bug fixes.
ModernUI has also been removed, as it was unstable and buggy. If you were a big fan of the fancy tooltip and font, I will look into alternatives, and it may come back later. This update should finally stabilize the 1.21.11 version, so many of the issues users have been facing should now be gone. Thanks for the patience. Going forward, I will mark more releases as beta when larger changes are added, so if you want a stable experience, you know not to update.

Update 2.5.0 is here, getting ready for Hypixel Skyblock moving to 1.21.9+.

With the new version requirement and the new HUB, every mod in the pack has been updated to the latest version. I also re-rendered the Hub islands for Modern Warp Menu, so everything is ready for update day.

⚠️ Important – ScaleMe 3.0 Rewrite

ScaleMe is now version 3.0, and this update is a full internal rewrite.

With this rewrite, I renamed many internal config values. That means your config will reset (only for Scale Me) when you update. Please take a screenshot of your current settings before updating, then set them up again after the update.

The new menu is better structured, and I added more options for customization, so setting it up again should not take long.

This rewrite makes the mod easier to maintain and can give slightly better performance going forward.

🛠 Update 2.4.7

This update adds a new safety-focused mod, updates several core mods and resource packs, and includes small config fixes.

➕ New Mod

ScamScreener by Pankraz01 has been added to the pack. ScamScreener analyzes Hypixel SkyBlock chat in real time to detect scam risks. It warns you about suspicious trade, party, and co-op activity. It can also block risky outgoing messages like Discord invites or email addresses.

ScamScreener's goal is to detect scammers and warn you before they get you to do anything you shouldn't, like going off-platform and falling for a Discord verification scam or inviting someone to your co-op.

The mod is still in early development, and the detection algorithm needs improvement, but that can't be done without more data. The mod currently has a few options when a possible scammer is detected. You can mark them as legit, mark them as a scam and block the user. You can also run /scamscreener upload to upload the messages directly to the Skyblock Enhanced Discord scam-screener channel so Pankraz01 and I can look at them to find weak spots and improve the mod. False positives and false negatives are important to report so the mod can be updated and improved. With your help, we can massively improve the safety of new users on Hypixel and maybe significantly reduce the number of users scammed.

Also, if you know someone who doesn't use the modpack, get them to install the mod into their own mod folder. Even if you think you're smarter than that, anyone can fall for scams. ScamScreener is just an install-and-forget until the day you need it, and you won't regret having then.
