Minecraft's old artstyle is still relatively popular, and this is one of many packs trying to recreate that original look, but with a twist; it entirely focuses on the aesthetics of late release Minecraft (i.e 1.8-1.12).

PACP 2.1 Cherry Grove

It includes a lot of original textures and nifty editwork, as well as a hybridization of certain cut concepts with their finalized counterparts and reimplementations of previous textures better suiting it stylistically.

In short, it's like if the texture update never happened, an intentionally rougher artstyle, using mostly original sprites styled after the many artists and programmers hired to work on the game pre-jappa. Some textures are more competent, some are less competent. It also covers 1.13, the first update to use Jappa's artstyle.

PACP 2.1.2 Lush Caves

It also includes modded beta and alpha styled addons, found in the "additional files" tab.

PACP has partial functionality for most versions post item name changes. (w/ some broken paths caused by a few specific version, i.e logo breaks if you return to 1.17, I may make ports for old versions)

I've also got a personal work server, if you want to be kept up to date with development of this, and other projects, as well as hear me complain about mojang changing small things in ways that only annoy pack devs lmao.

Do note the server isn't designed to be a large, active hangout spot, the friction placed on joining is intentional as it'd be impossible to moderate it otherwise.

PACP Base Pack 2.5.2_03

Small Patch fixing the names for cat textures. Left copies with the old names in for old version parity. Thanks mojang for breaking things for no reason lol

As a sidenote, are you having issues with leaves? I've received reports about it and have been unable to recreate them. I recommend you turn off texture filtering.
