ShaderPack made by me. Currently a work in progress, expect bugs and crashes.
Welcome to VertaLux, a Minecraft shaderpack designed to push the visual boundaries of the game.

This is the very first public release of VertaLux, developed entirely as a solo project.
Because it is a Work in Progress (WIP), you will encounter bugs, visual artifacts, optimization issues, or occasional crashes. Please keep this in mind while playing. Your feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are incredibly valuable to help stabilize, optimize, and shape the future of VeraLux.

VertaLux V3 — Major Update ✨
A big visual overhaul focused on water, sky, clouds and distant terrain — plus a brand new ⭐ BEST VISUALS profile.

🚀 Highlights
🌄 Distant Horizons support (new)
Fully lit DH terrain & water LODs — consistent sun, ambient, cloud shadows and fog, with analytic sky reflections on distant water. But still in work in progress, expect bugs.
🌊 Water rework
Directional swell Waves v2, Kelvin wake v6 with foam, rain ripples & splash rings, glossy/rough reflections, cloud reflections, large-scale caustics, waterfalls, and volumetric underwater fog with godrays.
☁️ Clouds rework
Realistic cumulus (shape, erosion, silver lining), detail v3 with internal wisps, high alto + cirrus layers, and fast soft cloud shadows.
🌅 Sky & atmosphere
Aerial perspective, new star engine v2, atmospheric & distance fog with biome tint and dusk boost, finer godrays.
🧱 Glowing blocks (new)
Emissive metal/ore blocks (iron, gold, diamond, emerald, netherite, copper, redstone, amethyst + raw ores), portal glow FX, and animated lava flow.
🌑 Shadows
Cutout/entity & translucent shadow fixes, tunable distortion & depth range, tinted foliage shadows.
✨ Post-processing
Motion blur, AgX tonemap option, physical/MIP bloom, glossy glass reflections, and improved TAA (sub-pixel jitter, ghost rejection, tonemap clamp).
⚠️ Fixes
- many fixes that i can't count.
ℹ️ Note: I experimented with a full path-tracing / voxel lighting engine during this update, but decided to move it into a separate project — so it's not part of this release.

And i've manage to make no more transparence on the particles or whatever.

BIG UPDATE.
I've manage to make better clouds. And better underwater environnement.
I recommend to just desactivate the real lights stuff in the shaderpack settings.
